Generally, Poker has a minimum of six or eight players. The game is played with a 52 card deck. The player who has the highest hand will win the pot. In the event that no one has the highest hand, the pot will be divided among the players equally.

The goal of poker is to form the best hand possible. The individual cards in the deck are ranked from ace to king. The highest of two identical pairs wins. If two pairs are of the same rank, they should be compared by the highest odd card.

Two four of a kind with the same rank beats a higher flush. The high card breaks ties when more than one person has the highest card. Similarly, two fours of a kind with the same rank beats the high card outside a four of a kind.

Fours of a kind are sometimes called quads. A pair of kings beats a pair of aces. In some parts of Europe, fours of a kind are called poker.

If there are ties, the highest pair wins. The second highest pair breaks ties. If the ties are still ties, the high card breaks ties. If nobody has a pair, the highest card breaks the ties.

A pair of kings is not very good off the deal. Alternatively, a pair of aces beats a pair of kings. Another example of a pair of aces is AA7422.

The next round of betting will be the final round. If no one raises, the last player to bet will be the winner. Alternatively, if all the players call, the final round will be called a “showdown.” After the final round of betting, the cards are revealed and the winner is determined.
